How we work
A brief usually describes what a business thinks it needs. Watching the work shows what is actually happening. Office Studio starts with the second one, because it is the only version that can be designed against.
01
Observe the work
We ask people to show us the last time they completed the task. Not how it is supposed to work. How it went. Apart from the project lead, no individual usually gives more than 30 to 45 minutes.
02
Design the system
We map the people, tools, information, decisions and handoffs involved, and where each one stalls.
03
Build the useful layer
We implement the smallest coherent system capable of improving the work, and no more than that.
04
Leave the team more capable
Documentation, ownership and handover are part of the build, not an afterthought once the invoice clears.
Boundaries
Every engagement has a defined scope, owner, timeline and outcome.
Not an outsourced IT department
Not a generic AI trainer
Not an ongoing content agency
Not endless custom development
Not software resale
This is not workforce-reduction consulting.
We are hired to make the work carry itself, not to find people to remove. The staff who show us how the job is done are the ones who understand it best, and the system we leave behind is built for them to run. If reducing headcount is the brief, we are the wrong studio and will say so.
