Studio
Office Studio is a founder-led practice operated by PJ Roch. Projects are led directly, with specialist design, engineering or implementation collaborators brought in where the scope requires them.
PJ’s previous product work spans CRM, commerce, digital operations and consumer products, including work with organisations such as lululemon, Dext, Everpress and Sofar Sounds.

Principles
The smallest coherent system
More software is the usual answer and rarely the right one. We look for the fewest connected parts that carry the work.
Taste is operational
How a business looks and how it runs are the same question asked twice. A considered surface over a chaotic system does not hold.
Judgement stays human
Automation earns its place on defined, repetitive work. Decisions that need judgement keep a person in them.
Handover is the deliverable
A system the client cannot operate without us is not finished. It is a dependency.

Why it exists
Established businesses rarely lack effort or expertise. They lack a system that carries either one reliably. The gap shows up in the work their customers and their team do every day, which is where a project starts.
